**What You Will Do**
- Setup the Risk framework and related processes for the firm, and provide independent risk oversight, guidance, and approval for systematic trading strategies by focusing on electronic trading risk, operational risk, and market risk
- Work along the CIO and Portfolio Managers to expand the firm's business with proper risk appetite and optimized risk-reward ratio
- Design, build and maintain quantitative risk models for all systematic trading strategies run by the firm in Cefi, Defi, and OTC (credit risk)
- Work with the Core Engineering team to develop, deploy and enhance Risk Control, Risk Monitor and Risk reporting systems
- Lead Quantitative Risk Analysts to:

- Control electronic trading risk and market risk of strategies in real-time, and consequently escalate, report, and resolve any risk-related issues in a timely manner
- Respond effectively to any risk limit violation and resolve any trading-related issues
- Conduct ad-hoc risk analysis, performance analysis and back-testing on a regular basis
- Collaborate effectively with various departments and provide risk support and advisory as appropriate

**Who You Are**
- Degree in a quantitative discipline (Math/Statistics/Computer Science/Financial Engineering, etc.)
- Minimum 5 years of experience in a market risk role, ideally at a systematic hedge fund
- Proficiency in Python and solid quantitative skills
- Working knowledge of quantitative investment strategies
- Have a desire to continuously learn and challenge the status quo to improve existing processes
- Experience working with senior management, compliance, business management, and technology teams
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Exposure to low latency algorithmic risk controls is highly preferred
- Experience in quantitative risk modeling, data processing and analysis, database is a plus
- Fluency in English & Mandarin to communicate effectively with colleagues across different regions
