**Job Summary**:
**Key Responsibilities**:

- Support production of IFRS17 actuarial reserve, LICAT capital calculations and other management reporting deliverables to be submitted to Regional/Corporate Office during quarter close
- Support migration of existing Axis valuation model into Aon Pathwise, including help implementing best modeling methodologies and practices under a strongly controlled environment
- Support production of ALM related quarter end deliverables such as ALM reports, liquidity tracking, Explanation of Investment Results (EoIR) for Drivers of Earnings (DOE), Earnings at Risk (EaR), Capital at Risk (CaR) and other management reporting requirements
- Conduct robust analysis into company financials on ALM matters and collaborate with other ALM teams, Finance, Investment and Regional/Corporate Office to implement mitigation strategies such as hedging
- Provide technical support to the valuation team on ALM matters such as valuation assumptions
- Collaborate with other employees to build and enhance processes to ensure efficient workflows and a strong control environment
- Conduct any ad-hoc risk quantification & analysis and contribute to mitigation strategies and alternatives.
- Additional duties as may be required from time to time by Senior Management.

**Job Requirements**
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in Life Insurance industry
- Actuarial exam progression with a recognized international actuarial body, investment track is preferred (Eg: SOA QFI and IFoA SP5, SP6 and SA7)
- Experience with IFRS17 is preferred. Experience or knowledge of other valuation/capital framework (eg SII, RBC2) is a plus
- Strong foundation in groundwork and expertise in Microsoft Excel is a must
- Experience with Prophet or an alternative actuarial modelling software is highly preferred
- Strong technical skills and problem-solving ability, able to work in a dynamic environment
