
Regional Head of Products and Usage, Cards

**Strategic Intent**
- This is senior role in the core management team Lead regional product strategy for Citibank Credit Cards across Singapore, Hong Kong and UAE
- Increase engagement of existing credit card customers by targeting deepening of share of wallet and increase in Citi Credit card usage/spend per account
- Define strategic roadmap for Credit Card loyalty programs by offering better customer journeys, multiple redemption channels and redemption options for customers that allows them to derive higher value
- Partner with Credit Risk and stakeholders to enable risk expansion to increase risk-reward for the portfolio. Deep dive into capital requirement components to increase portfolio ROTCE.
**Key Responsibilities**:
- Defining a clear vision and strategy for the role Credit Card products play as part of a broader suite of proprietary products in CGW organization
- Identify Product Development opportunities to plug gaps in product portfolio either through development of new products that fit the needs of the organization or expanding the usage of existing products into new segments Citi is under-penetrated into.
- Developing and maintaining a comprehensive financial and risk dashboard to regularly track portfolio performance
- Understanding the competitive and regulatory landscape as well as existing capabilities to help make the case for investment for product enhancements and changes
- Closely monitoring overall portfolio and product-level profitability and defining initiatives to improve profitability while driving growth
- Partnering with the Rewards platform team to manage the mix of redemptions to help ensure customers have a wide choice of redemption options, based on understanding of existing and emerging needs
- Managing the learning agenda on existing customers with the research team to maximize learning and define communication strategy
- Partner with the Lending team to match customer lending needs with the right set of products for cross-sell
- Developing specific recommendations spanning line management, digital onboarding, monitoring tools, product trade strategy and retention to help maximize customer lifetime
- Managing a team of professionals to accomplish established goals and conduct personnel duties for the team (e.g. performance evaluations, hiring and disciplinary actions) as well as negotiate and make decisions on issues/activities having critical impact/influence on the portfolio
- Acts as a trusted advisor to the leadership team and addresses high impact strategic issues across its portfolio of businesses. Work in close partnership with business heads and senior
- Drive business strategy initiatives around growth, investments, capital, and expense
- Conduct organic growth initiative development and prioritization, and portfolio assessment.
- Identify opportunities and issues of strategic importance to the line of business. Partner closely with risk team to identify new segments for growth, run credit tests and challenge current underwriting criterion for expansion of Citi card customer based on past behavior.
