Job Summary:
Key Responsibilities:
**Patient Preparation and Care**:
Assist in preparing patients for dialysis and other TCM therapies.

Monitor patient conditions before, during, and after treatments, reporting any concerns to the healthcare practitioner.

Provide direct patient care as needed, ensuring comfort and safety during their visit.

**Support for TCM Practitioners**:
Prepare treatment rooms and ensure that all necessary equipment and supplies are available and sterile.

Assist practitioners during procedures by handing them instruments and materials or performing other tasks as directed.

Clean and disinfect dialysis machines and other therapy equipment before and after use according to clinic protocols.

**Administrative Duties**:
Schedule appointments and manage therapy session logistics.

Maintain accurate and confidential patient records.

Assist with inventory management and order supplies as needed.

**Patient Education and Support**:
Provide patients with basic information on their treatments and aftercare instructions under the guidance of TCM practitioners.

Assist patients in understanding the treatment process and answering any non-medical questions.

**Compliance and Safety**:
Adhere to clinic policies and procedures, including health, safety, and sanitation standards.

Participate in training and development opportunities to stay informed about best practices in TCM and dialysis therapy.

**Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; certification or experience in healthcare, particularly in a TCM or dialysis setting, is preferred.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Compassionate and patient-oriented approach.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Basic understanding of TCM principles and therapies is an advantage.
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new procedures and techniques.
- Working Conditions: The Therapy/Dialysis Aide will work in a clinical setting, which may require standing for extended periods and interacting with patients undergoing various treatments. The position may involve exposure to bodily fluids and chemicals used in dialysis and TCM therapies. Appropriate personal protective equipment will be provided.
