Momentum Works is looking for research analysts to join our ass-kicking Insights team which has churned out unique and outstanding reports that answer the (literally) billion dollar questions for investors and key corporate decision makers.

(e.g. What is the future for Indonesia ecommerce; will Buy Now Pay Later work in Southeast Asia; Will Shopee disrupt Nubank in Brazil, Who is J&T).

**About the Research analyst role**:
Insights in emerging markets is a key business unit of Momentum Works. We put things in perspective using our unique primary resource - our community. You will be working directly with our Head of Insights (BCG alumna) and the management team to research industry and company specific topics related to tech, consumer internet, digital economy and investment.

As structured information for Southeast Asia and other emerging markets is scarce and quite often unreliable, you will need to be resourceful. A unique advantage you will have here is Momentum Works' core resources (knowledge, experience and community), from which you can connect the dots and uncover real insights.

Successful applicant will be expected to do the following:

- Groundwork research and gather data from international secondary sources, including filings and annual reports of public companies;
- Conduct research from Momentum Works’ primary data sources (e.g. community of business leaders, experienced executives, customers, investors etc);
- Analyse data gathered and convert into customer friendly graphs and tables (Tableau or other relevant data visualisation skills is a plus);
- Review data with management to add on opinion to provide holistic view of an industry;
- Participate in our other venture, investment and consulting projects to gain real understanding, which you will translate into insights;
- Review writings with management to add on opinion to provide holistic view of an industry - and handle discussions raised by informed readers / community members;
