Financial Analyst

Financial analysts are responsible for financial planning, analysis, and projection for companies and corporations. They forecast future revenues and expenditures to establish cost structures and determine capital budgeting for projects. Senior-level financial analysts work with CFOs and other executive-level team members who are in HQ, South Korea to set company-wide investment direction and policies.
- Analyzing current and past financial data and performance
- Preparing reports and projections based on this analysis
- Evaluating current capital expenditures and depreciation
- Establishing and evaluating profit plans
- Identifying trends in financial performance and providing recommendations for improvement
- Coordinating with other members of the finance team to review financial information and forecasts
- Providing financial models and forecasting
In SK Gas International, the Financial (Trading) Analyst tracks LPG prices and evaluates economic and industry conditions so recommend the strategy that will create the highest profits for LPG traders and the management. The financial analyst uses spreadsheets and software to analyze financial data, and market trends, so as forecast expected profit and loss on certain deals as well as activities.
As a result, the analyst reports and makes presentations, usually analyzing the performance, and making recommendations for future actions.
In addition, the analyst cooperates with the risk manager using the data to measure the financial risks associated with making a particular trading decision.
Therefore, someone with excellent Excel knowledge with Korean language skills would be highly appreciated.
