**Quant Matter **is a quantitative-based trading firm that specializes in crypto market-making and multi-asset trading, such as futures, stocks, commodities, forex and cryptocurrency. Our team focuses on developing and deploying high-quality quantitative-based strategies and predictive signals (alpha) and trading on global financial markets with the goal of achieving a sustainable long-term investment objective.

We are looking for a driven algorithmic trader who will build his own trading desk from the ground up

**This role is intended for algorithmic traders, but traders without coding experience will be considered. You will need your own trading strategies. **

**What You Will Do At Quant Matter?**
- Able to run your own desk and manage your own profit and loss.
- Able to come up with new trading ideas, new algorithms and trading strategies.
- Able to improve current strategies.
- Able to develop new functionalities for existing trading platforms.
- Research financial markets, develop quantitative trading models and analyse results.
- Any major is welcome, but a diploma, BS/MS/PhD in computer science, mathematics, or quantitative financial modelling is preferable.
- Passion about algorithmic trading and HFT trading.
- A self-motivated and can-do attitude.
- Proven track of trading record.
- Excellent coding skills will be a plus (C/C++, Java and Python).
- Have a broad understanding of macro-economic drives in the business environment.
- Preferable 3 years of experience in the financial industry.
- Fresh graduates will be considered.
