Join MUFG, where being inspired is expected and making a meaningful impact is rewarded.- Investigate and perform due diligence on transactional alerts escalated from the first level of the review function for potential sanctions violations in a manner consistent with the requirements of the Global Sanctions Screening and Investigations Standard - one APAC branch only- Liaise with relevant stakeholders to obtain additional information or documents to facilitate/ ensure timely review of alerts- Provide an opinion on the investigation and make a final decision to pass or escalate to third level of the process framework- Review name screening alerts (4 branches) and perform assessment on the screening results generated by sanction screening tools in accordance with the steps, timeframes, and prioritization set out in procedure in a complete, accurate and timely manner- Escalate sanctions related breaches/ violations to APAC Regional Head of Sanctions or delegate as per applicable policies- Maintain relevant databases and documentations and support on FCOA-Sanctions matters including but not limited to the accurate compilation of statistics/ reports to facilitate management reporting, ad-hoc presentation on specific sanctions topics or areas in financial crime, system access maintenance, retrieval of file for audit/ testing purposes, etc.- Support APAC Regional Head of Sanctions or delegate in any matter to ensure the effective operation of the sanction’s compliance program in the region.
Job Requirements:
- Minimum Degree in any field- Minimum 2 years of experience working in sanctions related investigations and/or financial crimes- Good verbal and written communication skills- Meticulous and possesses a good sense of awareness with regards to sanction regulations/ policies required for the investigation scope of work- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills- A team player and an organised individual who able to multi-task to meet and deliver within Service Level Agreements/ stipulated timelines- Functions well in fast-paced, dynamic environment of sanctions- Good verbal and written communication skills- We regret to inform that only shortlisted applicants will be notified._
