**VMS EMEA & APAC Global Project Leader**

The VMS EMEA & APAC Global Project Leader is responsible to manage cross-functional Global Project Teams (GPT) from project initiation to launch (end to end) to deliver new Consumer Health products (NPDs) with excellence, on time and on budget and responsible for all project-related activities across all functional areas, including the development and execution of objectives, timeline, resourcing model and budget. He/She also needs to ensure each project runs effectively and efficiently, with timely decision-making, effective stakeholder communication, and following all internal processes and governance, manage effective risk mitigation and issue resolution for each project and oversee end-to-end budget reporting for projects, including all internal and external resource costs.

**YOUR TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES**:

- Manage between 6 - 10 NPD projects with a significant small number of high complexity projects.
- Manage GPT meetings, ensuring that all team members (R&D, Commercial, Product Supply, Regulatory, Medical, Legal and Country functions) are held accountable for their project deliverables.
- Ensure planning and project management is guided by the established governance and project management processes and is appropriate for the specific project
- Work closely with Category R&D Director and Technical Project Lead (TPL) to ensure strategic alignment of project through each stage.
- Oversee risk assessments and identification of barriers for the project. Develop clearly outlined mitigation and solution options /opportunities for enhanced project success. Escalate issues as needed to ensure necessary decisions and course correction are made prior to off-track events occurring.
- Closely manage end-to-end budget for project, including all internal and external resource costs.
- Provide relevant and transparent project communications to senior management and stakeholders.
- Manage project Innova updates, adhering to data base management best practices with a detail oriented eye.
- Closely collaborate with Commercial Leads to ensure strategic alignment and execution of project throughout stage and gate process. After successful launch in lead markets, ensure proper hand over to Commercial Lead and launch team for further launch roll-out

**WHO YOU ARE**:

- Minimum 5 years industry experience with proven track record of leading individuals and teams in cross functional international environments. STEM background is desirable.
- At least 3 years Agile Project Management experience in product development or direct experience in product development, regulatory, medical device development, supply chain management, etc..
- Significant Project Management and Industry experience in Consumer Goods, Pharma or Foods with a proven track record in leading individuals and teams in cross-functional international environments.
- Experience leading projects in a complex matrix organization leveraging stakeholder management, innovative thinking and collaboration skills.
- Understanding of financial, budgeting and commercial evaluation (NPV) processes desirable.
- Highly effective leadership and communication skills energizing and enabling teams across all levels to achieve outstanding results.
- Experience leading digital and / or sustainability initiatives preferred.
- International Project Management Certification is desired.
- Fluency in Mandarin languange will be an added advantage.
