Janitor/cleaner

ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Reporting
- Cleans the building by dusting, sweeping, mopping, vacuuming floors and surfaces, and cleaning windows.
- Cleans restrooms, including toilets, sinks, and mirrors, by ensuring that the restrooms are clean.
- Restock restrooms by ensuring they are well stocked with supplies such as toilet paper.
- Collects trash throughout the building by emptying trash cans and recycling bins.
- Disposes of trash throughout the building by ensuring that the trash is properly disposed of.
- Performs minor repairs throughout the building by fixing leaky faucets or replacing light bulbs.
- Notifies supervisors of major repairs that need to be made to the building by making routine checkups for repairs.
- Works with mínimal supervision by completing tasks on time.
- Keeps cleaning supplies in stock by ensuring that all restocks are reported in time.
- Works with a contract cleaning service for deep cleaning by requesting such services when necessary.
