Singapore CANOSSAVILLE CHILDREN AND COMMUNITY SERVICES Full time

The Curriculum Specialist (1) Provides the design and set up of quality learning opportunities that will target age - appropriate language and literacy skills for children with hearing loss, (2) Leads in the design and implementation of a developmentally and culturally appropriate language and literacy activities that is founded in the use of sign language and (3) Develops sustained collaborative partnerships with families by creating activities and aligning learning concepts transferable to the home environment.

**Curriculum Design and Evaluation**
- Designs and contributes to the Centre's culture of continuous learning, collaboration that will support the supplementary sign language given to EI teacher.
- Align/incorporate the 5 EI pillars set to ensure the foundation of Early Intervention principle in the design, execution of the curriculum for targeted learners.
- Develop and execute training and provide guidance to teachers on the use of the curriculum.
- Conduct feedback sessions with Centres on the curriculum, review the feedback and make the necessary changes to enhance the curriculum.
- Collaborate with the Quality Assurance Specialists to embrace the running of the curriculum and to review regularly.
- Conduct class observation on the implementation of curriculum at ground and review on the necessary improvement.

**Resource Design and Planning**
- Collaborate with SI head, SEI and EI team on the development and creation of class/session materials and resources that targets and measures learning concepts and skills aligned to the designed/created curriculum
- Collaborate with the training representative of Canossian EIPIC and Canossian Childhood Development Unit on resources/content of Parent Training workshops

**Working in Teams**
- Brainstorm and plan activities with EI team which include EI teacher, Speech Therapist, Psychologist, Educational Therapist
- Coordinate with EI teachers and Signing teachers on the implementation and differentiation of learning scope and sequence based on diversity of students’ caseload

**Education and Experience**
- Graduated with a Diploma/Degree in Early Childhood/Early Intervention or other related degree
- Possess a Master's Degree in Education, Major in Curriculum Studies
- Minimum 1 year of experience working with children ages 2- 6 years old will be an advantage

**Technical Skills and Competencies**
- Knowledge of hearing loss will be an advantage
- Strong ability in use of Microsoft Office Applications (Excel and Word)

**Generic Skills and Competencies**
- Capacity to work effectively in response to work demands
- Good interpersonal and written communication skills
- Ability to contribute to a positive work and team culture where members strife for the highest standards of service delivery and care

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: $3,000.00 - $3,800.00 per month
