On an international level, VCC’s strategic partners include Asian Development Bank, International Air Transport Association, International Federation of Freight Forwarders Associations, Kenya Trade Network Agency, Mauritius Network Services. Additionally, we also work closely with Singapore government agencies including CAAS, Enterprise Singapore, IMDA, SCE, Singapore Customs, as well as chambers and industrial associations.

**The role**
The incumbent will be responsible for full spectrum of accounting duties which includes preparing full set of accounts.

**Key accountabilities**
- Handle full spectrum of accounting functions in accordance with statutory requirements.
- Handle full set of accounts including month end closing activities, financial & management reports and analysis of expenses. This include timely preparation of accurate financial and management reporting to HQ on a monthly basis.
- Prepare GST returns, audit schedules and inter-company and creditors’ reconciliations.
- Implement internal control policies and procedures
- Other duties include liaising with auditors and tax agents
- Perform other ad-hoc assignments and projects as assigned

**Skills & experience**
Essential:

- Degree in Accountancy or ACCA or equivalents
- Minimum 3-5 years of related working experience
- Conversant in Singapore Financial Reporting Standards and / or International Financial Reporting Standards
- Team player and able to work independently in a fast pace environment
- Action oriented, task focused and meticulous
- Willing to be hands on
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Excel
- Good interpersonal and communication skills

Preferred:

- CA Singapore or equivalent preferred
- Experience in group consolidation is an advantage
- Experience in SAP B1 is an advantage
