Established dental clinic of more than 40 years aims to help train and guide you if you have no experience in this field, to be a dental assistant. Bonus and salary increments are commensurate with work performance.

Your job focus is defined according to sessions. Per session you will be doing receptionist duties, or various chairside procedures to assist practitioners and patients. When standing to assist the practitioner(s) while attending to patients at the dental chair inside the various cubicles, exercising infection control measures in a healthcare setting and other details for various processes is important. Receptionist duties require using Clinic Assist software for payments and patient registration, giving appointments, answering patient queries in-person or over the phone.

~ at least 3 years DA experience and currently active in dental assisting

~ Knows general dental charting and periodontal charting

~ Knows how to assist independently for root canal treatment of anterior teeth and premolars

~ Knows how to assist independently for crowns and bridges

~ Knows denture-related procedures, such as manual casting of impression molds for dentures

~ Knows how to identify forceps, which is part of the necessary knowledge for extractions.

~ Knows how to assist independently for routine procedures such as scaling and polishing, fillings, etc
