Director of Finance

Treasury functions such as moving money, managing cash and liquidity, managing financial risks, and ensuring compliance with financial regulations are critical for any company, regardless of its size or whether it has a dedicated treasury team.
Finmo is a modern, API-based plug and play Treasury Operating System (TOS) for global companies, combining automated payments operations with best-in-class cash and risk management tools to enable Treasury departments to accelerate their digital transformation journey.Finmo is building a new TOS from the ground up, prioritizing the following:
**Money Movement **- Aggregation of RTP networks and development of APIs to make scalable, automated payments and workflows across customers
**Cash Management **- Real time visibility into the full life-cycle of payment and an unified financial view to make liquidity decisions and an automated way to collect and reconcile bank data
**Risk Management **- Automation and integration of FX conversion process
**Unified Integration **-Easy-to-use APIs with broad connectivity across systems (bank, ERP, TMS) with mínimal implementation time

We are looking for an experienced Director of Finance (Finance Director) to oversee all financial aspects of business and drive the company’s financial strategy and planning. You will be responsible for assessing the financial performance of the company as well as possible risks and investments.As Director of Finance you will be a reliable professional with broad knowledge to all accounting, financial and business principles. You are a strategic thinker and effective leader who can make the most profitable decisions.The key goal is to guide the company towards profitability and long-term success.ResponsibilitiesDrive the financial planning of the company by analyzing its performance and risks.

Retain constant awareness of the company’s financial position and act to prevent problems.
Set up and oversee the company’s finance IT system.
Set targets for and supervise all accounting and finance personnel (management accountants, internal auditors etc.).
Oversee all audit and internal control operations.
Develop the corporate fundraising strategy and manage relationships with partners and investors.
Prepare timely and detailed reports on financial performance on a monthly, quarterly and annual basis.
Conduct analysis to make forecasts and report to upper executives.
Ensure adherence to financial laws and guidelines.

**Qualifications**
Proven experience as Director of Finance or similar role
In-depth knowledge of corporate finance and accounting principles, laws and best practices
Solid knowledge of financial analysis and forecasting
Proficient in the use of MS Office and financial management software (e.g. SAP)
An analytical mind with a strategic ability
Excellent organizational and leadership skills
Outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities
BSc/BA in accounting, finance or relevant field; MSc/MA is a plus
CPA or other relevant qualification is a plus
Understanding of the payments and fintech industry
Ability to thrive in a startup organisation environment that’s fast evolving
Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
Strong organisational, multi-tasking, and prioritising skills
Must have a passion for forward facing client involvement.
Ability to present and discuss information in a manner that persuades, educates, and enhances understanding of the enterprise
Leads by example with high energy, transparency, relationship management, and influencing skills
Must be self motivated and a self starter
