Inspect incoming consignment vehicles for mechanical issues, safety, and roadworthiness upon intake.
- Perform basic to intermediate maintenance and repairs, such as oil changes, battery checks, brake servicing, tire replacements, and engine diagnostics.
- Identify and report cosmetic and mechanical defects that may affect resale and recommend rectification.
- Coordinate with third-party workshops or service providers for major repairs or specialized work.
- Conduct vehicle diagnostics and ensure all warning lights or system issues are resolved before listing.
- Maintain detailed service records for each vehicle in the inventory management system.
- Ensure vehicles meet regulatory and emissions standards required for sale and transfer.
- Support in the quality control process, including final checks before customer test drives or deliveries.
- Assist in vehicle detailing coordination and ensure cars are clean and presentable.
- Monitor stock of maintenance tools, fluids, and equipment; request replenishments as needed.
