Singapore CAPITAL GROUP INVESTMENT MANAGEMENT PTE. LTD. Full time

**As a Fixed Income Trader, you will contribute to the team in the following ways**:

- Execute trades and identify trading strategies/investment opportunities in Asian sovereign bond, Asian credit, emerging markets, and US Rates and FX markets
- Build and maintain strong external and internal relationships throughout the Asian region, develop strong relationships with broker-dealers in the region, and conduct regular reviews of the relationship to optimize effectiveness of the partnership
- Communicate regularly with Capital’s London, Los Angeles and New York trading desks to ensure a global view on bond and FX markets
- Collaborate with Capital’s investment professionals worldwide to discuss market trends and investment strategies from a local perspective
- Liaise with Investment Operations and other fixed income business units to maintain order flow integrity, monitor risk and improve communication

- Minimum 7-10 years trading experience, within Asian or related Fixed Income markets
- Fluent English speaker with strong communication skills
- Bachelors or Master’s degree in business, economics or other quantitative major
- Willingness to spend several months in Capital Group’s London and Los Angeles offices, before commencing permanent assignment in Singapore
- Self-starter and collaborative team player
- Able to work calmly, flexibly and efficiently in a fast-paced environment
