- TCT Shipbrokers was established in 2019 creating a successful niche shipbroking outfit that places importance on our client relationships above anything else. We are expanding our team by diversifying into all major shipping segments and are looking for the right individual to grasp this fantastic opportunity to join a fast-growing, ambitious outfit.
- Position Overview
- This is an exciting opportunity for a driven junior broker with proven and demonstrable experience in a broking environment. You will be well-organised, dynamic, tenacious and a natural networker as well as studious with regards to which segment you would like to focus on in order to proactively generate leads and secure new business. Within our flat management structure, you will work under your own initiative and prove to be an excellent team player.
- Key Responsibilities- Build and manage a strong network
- Identify & interpret market trends and opportunities for your clients
- Sourcing & marketing of 2nd hand tonnage and identify purchase enquiries
- Negotiate all terms leading to a successful delivery

**Job Requirement**
- Experience and Qualifications- Bachelor’s Degree in Maritime or related field with 3 - 5 years relevant experience in sale & purchase broking along with a track record of achievements
- Deep understanding of the Handy / Supra bulk market
- Extensive global network of ship owners/tonnage providers, operators, cargo owners and brokers
- Additional language to English

Skills and Competencies- Ability to forge strong relationships with major clients to actively seek and grow your customer base and to secure a foothold with key clients/trades, both on the tonnage and cargo side
- Strong negotiation and analytical skills
- Independent, entrepreneurial nature
