KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
- This is an important role with a number of key responsibilities, including:

- Researching macro/market trends and identifying themes and sub-sectors of interest for investment mandates
- Contributing to business development initiatives and presenting to senior management and other stakeholders on existing mandates and potential new opportunities
- Reviewing documentation and assisting in portfolio construction of new investment mandates
- Developing and maintaining financial models for existing and new investment mandates
- Maintaining pipeline of suitable fund and co-investment opportunities with a key focus on the North American market
- Maintaining relationships with placement agents, existing managers and potential managers of interest
- Undertaking due diligence on funds (primaries and secondaries) and co-investments including liaising with internal support teams and external advisors
- Recommending and presenting appropriate new fund and co-investment opportunities to the team and investment committee from having assessed investment rationale and key risks/mitigants of a potential commitment
- Contributing to and managing quarterly reports
- Assessing valuations and performance of existing investments
- Completing ad-hoc project requests and presentations

SKILLS / QUALIFICATIONS
- 8-10 years of private equity investment experience, principally within Fund of Funds (funds and co-investments), in addition to 3+ years within financial/consulting/investment banking
- Demonstration of strong network in private equity industry, particularly within North America
- Track record of committing to North America-focused private equity funds
- Strong and appropriate academic qualifications
- Good investment judgement
- Good understanding of financial data, financial statements and private equity legal documentation
- Strong analytical skills with good ability to disseminate information and present logical conclusions
- Excellent communication skills
- Knowledge of other alternatives asset classes such as private debt and infrastructure is beneficial
