A Research Engineer position is available in the Satellite Research Centre, School of Electrical & Electronic Engineering, Nanyang Technological University, Singapore.

**Job Description**:
- Perform mechanical design and structural analysis for satellite projects- Perform thermal analysis and control for satellite projects- Plan and conduct environmental test for satellite systems/subsystems, i.e., vibration, shock, and thermal-vacuum tests- Design mechanical ground support equipment (MGSE) for assembly, integration and testing of satellites. Work with suppliers for fabrication of the equipment- Hand on in assembly, harness, and integration of satellite
- Generate specifications and protocol- Generate test scripts/algorithm to verify the system operation and ensure reliability- Work with team members to ensure smooth integration of various subsystems- Document all process and implementation- Manage tasks according to project schedule- Support the centre and project operation, such as satellite mission operation, satellite testing and student activities

Job Requirements:
- Bachelor‘s degree in Mechanical Engineering and above in or related field from a reputable university- Diploma with good industry experience may also be considered- Able to multi-task and work in a dynamic environment.- Good self-discipline and team player.- Fluent verbal and written communications skills in English.- Proficient in SolidWorks, Thermal Desktop or similar CAD and Thermal Analysis software

Preferred Requirement- Complete full product life cycle- Experience in structure and thermal design- Proficient in MATLAB and/or Python
