- International powerhouse bank requires an expert in Credit, portfolio management and leadership, for their growing satellite office in Singapore making sure that the large high value corporate Credit portfolio is optimally managed and the all regulatory requirements are satisfied. Reporting to the Head of Credit, Asia the position is responsible for a team covering all facets of credit decisions, policy, procedures and portfolio management.

A professional in** Credit **for a powerhouse international bank will be responsible for ensuring quality of credit submissions, decisions and presentation of recommendations of a portfolio of high value investment banking and corporate clients, structured transactions and new business.

The credit portfolio management will ensure quality of credit decisions, inform early on any remediation and assess adequacy for provisions if necessary and adherence to all regulatory requirements.

The role requires input into the development and implementation of credit policies, systems, processes, procedures and controls ensuring adherence to requirements of all Asian regulators. The incumbent will be designated as “Material Risk Personnel - MRP” as per MAS Guidelines on Individual Accountability and Conduct.

Requirements are:

- Credit and market experience, specifically to Asia Specialized credit industry, market and landscape
- Confident in providing support in managing a diverse and complex portfolio.
- At least 15 years of Credit experience with international banks.
- ability to provide expert advice to senior business counterparts in origination and monitoring large complex cross-border transactions.
- Expert knowledge and proven track record of Structured Finance transactions in a diverse range of industries
- Degree in Business, Accounting, Finance or relevant discipline.
- Be able to meet the fit and proper requirements of the bank and as an MRP.
- Familiar with banking industry practices, guidelines and code of conduct.
- Able to manage and communicate effectively with regulators and auditors.
- Substantial experience in managing teams.
- Excellent English spoken and writing skills. Mandarin knowledge is a plus
