Duties and Responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following
- Extract statistics on research bibliometrics and prepare reports for Dean and Vice Deans.
- Provide leadership to the support staff in the Research Section.
- Enhance research collaborations between FoS faculty members with their colleagues from other faculties/ schools.
- Improve the awareness of FoS research through various publicity platforms.
- Facilitate faculty members’ familiarisation with the university guidelines, work processes and resources, particularly new faculty members so that they can more quickly integrate into the community.
- Enhance grantsmanship of faculty members for large grant acquisition.

**Qualifications/Requirements**:

- Bachelor's degree or higher in sciences, engineering or their equivalent from a reputable university.
- Have at least five to eight years of work experience in research grant administration in a supervisory/management role.
- Experience in budget management.
- Experience with grant writing and agreements.
- General knowledge of local funding bodies and grant regulations.
- Ability to resolve complex issues and to make administrative and procedural decisions and judgments.
- Excellent command of English and communication skills.
- Strong team player.
