Lifting Supervisor

Develop lifting plans and perform lifting duties.
- Plan for the deployment and correct return of logistics, manpower, supervision, equipment, consumables needs of all work activities at the jobs site.
- Implement Shing Leck’s WSHE Plan and clients’ safety requirements throughout the construction phase of the project.
- Take steps to ensure that subcontractors are aligned with Shing Leck’s WSHE objectives and discharge their roles and responsibilities regarding compliance with client’s WSHE rules.
- Manage overall coordination and develops cooperative processes with client and subcontractors to minimize interface/ communication problems.
- Identify actual and potential risks at construction/ work sites and take steps to mitigate or eliminate them.
- Ensure that Work Method Statements (WMS), Job Safety Analysis (JSA) are developed with subcontractors before submission for approval.
- Supervise workers to prevent them from taking risks and shortcuts. Intervene when at-risk behaviour is spotted by informing them of their responsibilities and requirements to observe safe work methods.
- Lead, supervise, motivate, train and develop your direct reports so that they have the required competencies to carry out their jobs and meet the targets/goals.
- Manage performance and conducts performance appraisals of your deirect report.
