This Trade Compliance Specialist is to ensure seamless operations and mitigating compliance risks given the complexities and regulatory requirements associated with trade compliance (ie. changes of the applicable export control regulations (US, EU, and Japan) are very volatile and become more and more unpredictable).

**Job responsibilities**
- Work within the organization of Quality & Regulatory Compliance
- Responsible for all trade compliance related tasks and matters of Advantest in the Asia/Pacific region
- Ensure Advantest meets all import and export compliance regulations
- Ensure our implicit and explicit commitments to our stakeholders by enabling seamless export of goods to our customers and import from our supply chain
- Provide support and guidance to all Advantest sites in their trade operations related to: international import/export compliance management (ITC), licenses, training, auditing, improvement strategies and trade compliance process improvements.
- Support global and regional compliance requirements in maintaining continuity with corporate global trade compliance direction
- Effectively implement TC objectives into local country/regional initiatives in coordination with business stakeholders

**Requirements**:

- Bachelor degree in International Law, International Management, Business Engineering with a focus on foreign trade law
- 7+ years of experience in the operation of import and export compliance processes
- Excellent knowledge of applicable international trade and customs regulations
- Dedicated to meeting the expectations and requirements of internal and external customers
- Builds constructive and effective relationships across the company
- Fluent written and verbal communication skills in English language, preferred second language: Mandarin to support the shared service environment.

- Demonstrated interpersonal and teamwork skills as well strong ownership
- Project management and presentation skills
- Highly independent and pro-active
