**1) Job Description:
- Conceptualize and implement strategic projects and initiatives, with the objective of enhancing the company’s competitiveness.
- Manage complex management and business-related matters in a well-coordinated manner with other departments and sections to ensure smooth business operations.
- Lead the discussion to achieve optimal results in terms of the corporate strategy and summarize annual budget and mid-term plan under strategic production cost management.
- Manage budget and midterm plan and coordinate the whole budgeting process
- Monitor budgeted and actual cost variances, provide actions required to minimize total costs, summarize monthly profit and loss results and forecasts, report and explain to management and others.
- When required, provide necessary support to the management
- Formulation of personnel plans for the section,
- Responsible for job assignments to internal members, including career development and performance management for subordinates in light of both short term
- Responsible to create and support a work environment that is rewarding and motivating for
- Manage Business and Compliance risks and fulfil management of developing program on sustainability issues, including carbon neutrality.

**2)Skills Required:
- Fluency and proficiency in the Japanese language (spoken & written) for reporting, communication and discussion with the Japan HQ regarding company’s financial and business situation,
- Fluent English-speaking, writing, reading and communication ability in order to coordinate and assist business departments in the company including affiliated companies and external related parties in the region,
- Strong business acumen with strong communication skills, influencing, interpersonal understanding and leadership skills,
- Ability to understand complex phenomenon and explain to managements clearly and concisely,
- Investigate causes of issues related to business and accounting and take proper actions to rectify them with relevant internal and external parties,
- Sufficient ability in risk management, business management, and human resources management,
- At least 15 years of working experience in the chemical business or equivalent.
