RESPONSIBILITIES

Strategic Procurement:
- Frequently analyze the internal spend profile for all assigned categories, e.g. Forwarding, Warehousing, Air, and Trucking services- Monitor market development and build up market intelligence to understand and maintain the main cost drivers for assigned key categories- Refine and develop new Category Strategies for assigned key categories under responsibility- Contribute to development of SEAANZ Logistics & Packaging Procurement Plan- Source, tender, evaluate, negotiate and conclude the (framework) contracts with most favorable commercial Terms & Conditions- Maintain and update the framework contract list- Ensure all contracts are executed according to agreed contract terms, solve deviations and handle disputes- Ensure the process of vendor pre-qualification, selection and evaluation is in place- Continuously consolidate and optimize the vendor pool and update the Approved Vendor List- Management of external logistic partners and off-site logistic flows, including Dangerous Goods and non-Dangerous Goods transport and warehousing- Take the lead to develop and establish strategic partnership with critical vendors to continuously drive and improve the performance level- Ensure all purchasing within assigned categories are done with the highest standards on professional ethics and in compliance with company Procurement policy and manual- Drive the spend behavior towards to a situation with a majority of spend are covered by framework contracts and automatic Purchase Orders- Coordinate and support Global Category Managers to ensure the development and implementations of global contracts in the region- Support the company Digitalization journey to improve the effectiveness and efficiency of Procurement process and the way of working- Contribute to Procurement target and KPIs like savings and payment terms improvement

Operational Procurement:
- Active involvement in managing operational situations with regards to logistics & packaging in SEAANZ region, e.g. day to day escalation from stakeholders on Ocean freight and Overseas tank Container, including space/equipment/invoicing/spot rates- Developing, tracking and reporting key performance indicators of the key logistics vendors, and analyze, initiate and implement the improvement actions with the vendors on frequent basis- Maintaining clear communication channels with other departments like Customer Service and Supply Chain as well as external vendors- Maintain transportation module for logistics and packaging vendors in SAP system- Creation of Outline Agreements and issuance of Purchase Orders in SAP system

**REQUIREMENTS**:
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university or college- Preferred 3~5 years’ experience in logistics and supply chain- Fluent in English- Strategic thinker/planner- Strong oral and written communication skills- Strong Quantitative and Analytical Skills- Strong team player- Effectively handling global and regional stakeholders
