Job Purpose:
Responsible for managing the tax affairs of the company and overseeing the Indonesian Tax team, ensuring compliance with all applicable tax laws and regulations, and optimizing the company's tax position to minimize tax liabilities.

Key Responsibilities:

- Develop and implement tax strategies that align with the company's overall business objectives.
- Provide advice and guidance on tax issues to other departments within the company.
- Manage the preparation and filing of all tax returns (e.g., corporate income tax, value-added tax, withholding tax) and related compliance activities for Singapore, overseeing these works for the rest of the affiliates; managing the team based in Indonesia.
- Ensure timely and accurate payment of all tax liabilities.
- Lead the request and management of the GTP for the Singapore entity.
- Monitor changes in tax laws and regulations and assess the impact on the company's tax position.
- Identify and evaluate tax planning opportunities to minimize the company's tax liabilities.
- Manage relationships with external tax advisors and authorities.
- Ensure compliance with transfer pricing regulations, coordinating the tasks across the group.
- Provide tax support for the company's mergers and acquisitions activities.
- Coordinate and manage tax audits and disputes.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of tax laws and regulations in all relevant jurisdictions.

Qualifications and Experience:

- Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.
- CPA, CMA, or similar certification preferred.
- 5-7 years of experience in tax management, preferably in a multinational company or a public accounting firm.
- Strong knowledge of tax laws and regulations in multiple jurisdictions.
- Experience with tax planning, compliance, and audit activities.
- Strong knowledge/experience of Indonesia tax practices will be an advantage.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Experience managing teams preferred.
