**Responsibilities**:

- Manage dedicated analytical resources to inform regional claims leadership of trends and operational insights based on sophisticated analytical tools and methodologies
- Owns relationship with East Claims Leadership, delivering advanced tools and insights, including:
a) On-going monitoring of metrics and initiatives, to improve business results

b) Propose strategic and tactical direction impacting East Claims

c) Key initiatives like photo appraisal usage, customer direct dealing, claims NPS, etc.

d) Own the monthly Claims MOR package

e) Analyze frequency & severity trends to diagnose meaningful changes in claims activity and act across

claims, distribution, and product

f) Monitor claims inventory to enhance efficiency and workload balancing
- Provide strategic input and thought partnership on large-scale, highly complex projects/business issues, typically with countrywide scope
- Partner with the East Data Strategy team to prioritize data efforts and support creating a common data environment with uniform metrics
- Support East planning via the following:
a) Root Loss and LAE assumption in more granular, fact-based understanding of frequency and severity

trend by line of business

b) Identify expense efficiencies/productivity gains across functional areas

c) Identify and quantify costs/benefits of functional strategies for upcoming year
- Presents findings / recommendations and leads discussions with senior leadership at the department or functional level

**Qualifications**:

- Background in Finance, Accounting, Engineering and/or Business Systems. MBA or CPA preferred
- Thorough knowledge of business functions and KPIs and cross-functional operations and strategies
- Excellent analytical, quantitative, and problem-solving skills, knowledge of data sources, tools, and advanced statistical techniques required.
- Strong oral and written communications skills, presentation skills, and advanced Excel & SQL or SAS skills
- Creative thinking with a high degree of innovation and self-motivation
- Ability to prioritize, strong attention to detail, and exceptional organizational skills
- Leadership capabilities, desire, and ambition to develop skills, and project management experience a plu
- Experience working with Asia-Pacific or international finance teams is a plus
