**Head of Learning, Generation Singapore
We are seeking a talented **Head of Learning for Generation Singapore (GSG) **. This person will be part of the Senior Leadership Team at GSG and will lead the Learning Design and Delivery (LDD) function along with contributing directly to the organization strategy and mission.. Responsibilities include setting strategic vision for all Generation programmes in Singapore as well as overseeing the onboarding and professional development of the LDD team, including training managers, instructors and designers.

You will be part of Generation: You Employed, Singapore a local charity with a mission to create meaningful career pathways for people facing barriers to employment. We are an affiliate of Generation:You Employed, a global network of non-profit organisations working on a mission to bridge the gap between education and employment systems to prepare, place and support people into meaningful jobs that are otherwise inaccessible. Generation was created in 2014 to help bridge this gap—at speed and scale. Till date, Generation has supported more than 60,000 people of all ages across 17 countries to get into career-launching jobs. Our placement rates are one of the best in the market at nearly 82% of all Generation graduates securing full-time jobs within 90 days from completing the program.

**What will you do**:
To lead the high-quality design and delivery of our programmes, **Generation Singapore is seeking a full-time Head of Learning **to plan, manage, and deliver onboarding and professional development to Generation instructors in Singapore, and lead the learning design of our job training bootcamp.

The Head of Learning will report directly to the CEO of Generation Singapore and will work in close collaboration with training providers, instructors, and other Generation staff.

**Main Responsibilities**
- Organizational leadership (20%)
- Collaborate with the CEO, Heads of operations, communications and strategy to steer all GSG initiatives towards achieving the organization mission
- Provide Learning design and delivery expertise to multi-functional projects & initiatives to drive innovation and programme improvement
- Co-lead/coordinate special projects from time to time to enhance the learning experience and outcomes for our learners based on feedback from various stakeholders (employers, training partners, operations and BD team etc.)
- Drive innovation and productivity strategies specific to learning design and delivery keeping pace with market developments and technology innovations in education-to-employment space
- Learning design and delivery strategy (30%)
- Provide strategic direction to the LDD team on the execution of organization’s mission, innovation and instructor development
- Set and drive the vision for Generation Singapore’s curriculum priorities and instructor support strategy, including new approaches for scale (online delivery, LMS etc.).
- Assess the landscape of learning solutions and identify potential partnerships/collaborations to drive continual improvement of learning tools and products for Generation programmes
- Collaborate with country-level leadership, business development personnel, and programme launch/operations teams to scope new training projects, determine time and cost implications of programme design and lead programme development where appropriate.
- Lead and build capacity of country LDD team to deliver professional development for instructors (e.g., onboarding, coaching, refresher trainings, classroom visits, providing evidence-based feedback on observed strengths, areas for improvement and progress towards development goals)
- Determine the optimal use of technology to enhance learning outcomes; create an evidence base for making iterative improvements to existing and new programmes in lieu of online delivery
- Conceptualize instructor support into larger programmatic goals and strategies for scale.
- Collaborate with the Generation’s global team to support the adoption and customization of Generation’s global strategy for instructor staffing, selection, onboarding and professional development.
