**Responsibilities**:
**_Plan for pipe jacking works which include: _**

1. Estimate necessary material for TBM tunnelling/pipe jacking works.

2. Material planning including storage, ordering and update of stock.

3. Deployment of TBM/pipe jacking machine and all supporting equipment to site.

4. Prepare site set up for TBM/pipe jacking works (Example: pre-launching, launching, pre-retrieval, retrieval and during tunnelling/jacking) and actively participate in system assembly and disassembly.

5. Preparation of pipes ready for tunnelling/jacking and check lubrication lines during tunnelling/pipe jacking.

6. Participate in pre-planning meetings, operations meetings with Management and Sub-contractors and prepare relevant reports as and required.

7. Complete Inspection Test Plans/Protocol and Acceptance Reports.

8. Responsible for daily maintenance and routine repairs of TBM/jacking machine.

9. Assist with equipment troubleshooting and inform Management on machines reconditions and upgrade when necessary.

10. Responsible for identifying and communicating all safety hazards.

**_Prepare summary of the tunnelling/pipe jacking works which include: _**

1. Monitor and report tunnelling/jacking work progress, issue daily reports and maintain accurate records of tunnelling/jacking operations per specified forms

2. Status of material for tunnelling/pipe jacking works.

3. Collect data and prepare summary of machine breakdown.

4. Any other reasonable duties as assigned.

**Requirements**:

- Degree in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering or related.
- At least 5 years of specialized experience in handling TBM or Pipe Jacking Machines (Ø2000 and up) with extensive knowledge in the mechanics (including hydraulics) within the machine and able to trouble-shoot any problems that may be encountered; micro-tunnelling experience is also beneficial
- Relevant work experience in tunnelling/pipe jacking works and pipe laying works within Construction and/or Civil Engineering projects
- with Certificate for Building Construction Supervisors Safety Course (BCSS) and BCSS Tunnel
- Can read and understands blueprints, plans, maps, drawings and project specification.
- Must be able to work independently and perform within the programme
- Must be able to start work on short notice would be an added advantage
- Must be able to work in shifting schedule, day or night shifts underground on the TBM/PJM (including weekends and public holidays)
