**Key Responsibilities**:

- Handle cash, credit card, and other payment transactions accurately and efficiently.
- Assist customers with inquiries and provide a positive shopping experience.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the cashier counter and surrounding areas.
- Process refunds, exchanges, and returns following company policies.
- Ensure all prices and quantities are accurate during checkout.
- Monitor stock levels of checkout-related items such as bags, receipts, and ensure timely replenishment.
- Resolve customer complaints or escalate issues to supervisors when necessary.
- Follow all company policies, procedures, and safety standards.
- Assist in other ad-hoc duties as required by the supervisor or management.

**Requirements**:

- Prior experience as a cashier or in customer service is preferred.
- Strong numerical skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Proficiency in operating point-of-sale (POS) systems.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle pressure.
- Flexibility to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays.
- Positive attitude and a team player mindset.
