- Autonomous Vehicle Service Engineer

**Responsibilities**
- Level 1 Troubleshooting and Technical Support - identify, diagnose, and resolve basic configurations concerns, or minor hardware malfunctions
- Offer customer support by resolving queries, providing technical assistance, and ensuring customer satisfaction
- Execute routine data collection processes from data loggers, onboard sensors, software systems, diagnostic tools and feedback forms
- Analyze collected data to identify performance patterns, trends, and potential areas for optimization or preventive maintenance
- Conduct and facilitate regular inspections, diagnostic tests, and scheduled maintenance for all vehicle assets including on-board equipment to ensure optimal functionality and safety
- Develop maintenance schedules, ensuring adherence to protocols and manufacturer’s guidelines for regular inspections, software updates, and component replacements
- Generate detailed reports outlining identified issues, recommended solutions, and actions taken for each maintenance task or diagnostic analysis
- Coordinate operational activities including scheduling, resource allocation, and route optimization for the AV fleet
- Collaborate with engineering, operations, and management teams to facilitate coordination between technical tasks and operational requirements

**Requirements**:

- Minimally a diploma in relevant Engineering field with equivalent work experience, with a focus on mechatronics preferred
- Proficiency in Level 1 troubleshooting, data collection methodologies, and coordination of maintenance activities for Class 3 and 4 vehicles and electronics equipment
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with technical teams and stakeholders
- Dedication to meticulous documentation and reporting practices
