**Job Description for Onsite Safety Coordinator (Singapore)**:
**Role Overview**:
The Onsite Safety Coordinator will oversee and enforce safety measures at fire protection project sites in Singapore, ensuring compliance with safety regulations, minimizing risks, and maintaining a safe working environment throughout the project lifecycle.

**Key Responsibilities**:
**Safety Planning**:

- Conduct site-specific safety assessments and develop safety plans for the project.
- Ensure all safety protocols are in line with local regulations and industry standards.

**Site Inspections & Hazard Mitigation**:

- Perform daily site inspections to identify potential hazards and ensure corrective actions are taken.
- Monitor the use of proper PPE and other safety measures by all workers.

**Safety Training & Communication**:

- Conduct regular safety briefings, toolbox talks, and training for site personnel.
- Communicate and enforce safety guidelines to all employees and subcontractors.

**Incident Reporting & Investigation**:

- Report and investigate safety incidents, accidents, or near-misses, ensuring corrective measures are implemented.
- Maintain accurate safety records and documentation.

**Coordination & Compliance**:

- Coordinate with the project management team to ensure all safety practices are followed.
- Ensure compliance with SCDF codes, OSHA regulations, and other safety standards.

**Requirements**:

- Relevant certifications in Occupational Safety and Health (e.g., OSH, WSQ Safety Coordinator).
- Proven experience in safety coordination on construction sites, preferably within the fire protection or MEP industry.
- Strong knowledge of local safety regulations and industry best practices.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills to effectively manage site safety.
- A proactive, vigilant approach to identifying and addressing safety hazards.
