**Job Description & Requirements**

At Inspire Mum & Baby, swimming is more than a skill — it builds water safety, confidence, and lifelong joy. We are seeking an **experienced Swim Coach & Operations Planning Specialist**to join our team.

This role combines **hands-on swim coaching**with **operations and class planning responsibilities**, making it ideal for someone who is passionate about teaching children **and**confident in managing the flow of a busy swim school.

**Key Responsibilities**:
**Swim Coaching**
- Conduct engaging and structured swim classes for babies, toddlers, and young children.
- Provide assessments, progress feedback, and guidance to parents.
- Mentor junior coaches where needed.

**Operations & Planning**
- Oversee class scheduling, student placements, and pool usage planning.
- Manage daily centre operations, ensuring smooth coordination between classes, staff, and facilities.
- Maintain student records, registrations, and certifications accurately.
- Liaise with parents on class planning and operational matters.

**Safety & Facility Oversight**
- Ensure all classes follow health and safety standards.
- Maintain high standards of cleanliness and safety within the pool and surrounding areas.

**Experience**: Minimum **2-3 years of experience in swim coaching**(babies, toddlers, or young children preferred).

**Certification**: Recognised swim teaching qualification (STA or SwimSafer). Additional child development or sports-related certifications are an advantage.

**Operations Skills**: Strong organisational ability, capable of managing class schedules, planning resources, and handling parent communications.

**Personal Qualities**:
Energetic, fun-loving, and child-centred in teaching approach.
Strong communication and customer service skills.
Responsible, reliable, and able to multi-task in a dynamic environment.

**Availability**: Must be available on weekends.

**Leadership Edge**: Ability to take initiative and contribute to centre-wide planning and improvements.
