**Summary**:
Reporting to Head of Broadcast Engineering, to be responsible for maintenance of baseband broadcast systems and services provided by Encompass Singapore. Follow up troubleshooting of onair discrepancies related to transmission systems.

**Major Responsibilities**:
**Technical**:
1) Perform system troubleshooting of file based playout system failures and restore system in an efficient and expeditious manner.

2) Perform routine checks, corrective and preventive maintenance of broadcast equipment, such as automation system, storage system, Diva archive system, LTO tape library system, GV digital glue and routing system, GV icontrol, multiviewer system, subtitle transmission system, studio production system and related broadcast equipment.

3) Maintain close rapport and work as a team with operations department to ensure smooth transmission.

4) Assist in system installation, configuration, testing and commissioning.

5) Assist manager for projects, technical documentation, SOP and engineer duty roster planning.

6) Willing to work rotating shift and on weekends and public holidays

7) Willing to cover extra shift duty on occasional basis.

**Qualifications**:
1) Minimum 3 years’ experience handling broadcasting equipment.

2) Good working knowledge of broadcast equipment, computer and automation systems.

3) Solid understanding of IP theory and operation in support of command and control as well as video transport.

4) Knowledge of Grass Valley or other file based playout systems.

5) Knowledge of router control system and baseband monitoring system.

6) Knowledge of digital glue system for A/V signal processing and conversion.

7) Knowledge of baseband video, audio and metadata with the ability to analyze and troubleshoot issues.

9) Team player, work well under pressure.

10) Excellent communication skills in oral and written and proficient in English language.

11) Preferably a diploma or degree in Electronics Engineering
