Production & Service Engineer (Marine & Offshore)

Based in Tuas and reporting to the Principle Engineer, Your key responsibilities shall include:
1) Performing on Voyage Repair & Services and Engine related services for both Main Engine and Auxilary Engine with reputed experience and Knowledge.

2) Attending Test Trail, and assisting in fault finding and failure analysis, etc.,

3) Assisting in the development of on-board marine systems operation manuals.

4) Working with QA/QC to define acceptance criteria for Inspection, Test & trails to ensure that vessels meet owner’s standards and Specifications.

5) Your responsibilities include inspecting a vessel while it is in port or during seagoing operations. Need to go on board for supervising and acting worker.

6) Has a deep knowledge of requirements of ships & a self-starter in the improvement of marine operations and management of the organisation's ships.

7) Excellent Knowledge of handling LDM Tools, Laser alignment, In-Situ crank pin grinding, In-situ Liner calibration and Liner Honing at both Offshore and Onboard vessels.

8) Overhaul & repair of hydraulic & mechanical components and other machinery parts.

9) To ensure all work in the workshop and customer/supplier site to be carried out in the most effective, economically and technically way.

10) To ensure all work at the workshop is carried out according to the time frame. To provide technical support in the workshop and On-board if required. To provide complete service report to Service Supervisor in a shortest time. To ensure all service and repairing work are within Sulzer quality.

Job Requirements:
2) Experience in Marine Machineries, Equipment’s systems as well as its functions.

3) Willing to work with Vessel Managers and chief Engineers.

4) Knowledge and experience in shipyard safety rules and regulations will be an added advantage.

5) Good Hands-on working knowledge of on-board marine systems, class rules and international regulations.
