**Job description** About the job**
- To maximise sales in assigned HFB and to be a source of knowledge and expertise for the team. To have a deep knowledge of the range, local market, the customers, the store layout, the IKEA digital tools and the experience and expertise of colleagues.
- Support the efficient work of the IKEA mechanical sales system to ensure the continued execution and success of the IKEA Concept.
- Improve range presentation by ensuring it appeals to our local customers and encourages them to buy more.
- Encourage customers to give feedback and offer solutions to frequently asked questions this helps to make a better shopping experience for everyone in the future.
- Ensure you know about all the services offered in store such as assembly, kitchen installation, transport & finance and use the knowledge to help customers make informed choices which results in a better shopping experience for them.
- Where appropriate, my in-depth knowledge in the use of the digital tools, such as the Ikea Home Planner, allows me to assist & coach my customers & my colleagues in planning a purchase according to specifications, taking into consideration all the planning criteria.
- Confidence and want to listen to complaints from customers, then use knowledge of both the product and how the IKEA organization works, to offer informed solutions that ensure customers leave the store with a positive impression.
- Knowing my top selling products, strategic families and 3 Aces and 1 King, ensuring they are available and clearly communicated and displayed at all times. Promote alternative products when they are unavailable.
- Understanding the importance of accurate stock holding, Common Store Planning concept & how your actions can impact this.
- You work together with your shopkeeper and your commercial team to sales steer products and meet department sales goals.
- Ensure department working routines and follow them work proactively to maintain the safety and security of areas for customers and colleagues, and conscious of safety at all times in the store.
