Variant Configuration Analyst

Job Title: Variant Configuration Analyst (Contract 12 month)

**Job Description**:
As a Variant Configuration Analyst, you will play a pivotal role in designing and implementing variant configuration models for new products, as well as maintaining and deploying existing models. Your expertise in SAP Variant Configuration (VC), Advanced Variant Configuration (AVC), and Solution Sales Configurator (SSC) will be essential in driving the success of our projects. You will have the opportunity to utilize best practices and efficiently utilize Variant Configuration (VC) objects to ensure optimal functionality and performance. Additionally, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate VC with other modules, such as material variants, price linking, and sales order costing.

Key Responsibilities:
Design and implement variant configuration models for new products and maintain/deploy existing models.

Utilize best practices and efficiently utilize Variant Configuration (VC) objects like characteristics, classes, configuration profiles, constraints, procedures, selection conditions, super BOM, super recipe, variant table, user interface, and variant pricing.

Understand material variants, price linking, and sales order costing to ensure accurate configurations.

Examine existing models/processes and identify opportunities to improve and/or add automation.

Document model requirements in work instructions/job aids for product support.

**Requirements**:
Bachelor’s degree or higher in Engineering, Computer Science, or related field of study from an accredited institution.

Four (4) years of experience in SAP Variant Configuration (VC), Advanced Variant Configuration (AVC), and Solution Sales Configurator (SSC) with at least 1-2 full cycle SAP implementations.

VC system configuration and relevant cross-functional knowledge of integration points with other modules.

Excellent communication skills (verbal and written) with the ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical audiences.

Ability to work with business partners in different locales/time zones and collaborate with a global team.

Preferred Qualifications:
Experience building VC models in a manufacturing sector.

Attention to detail.

S/4 HANA project experience.

**Salary**: $6,000.00 - $7,000.00 per month

- Weekend availability
