**The Role**

The Assistant Manager (Technical) will assist the Manager (Operation & Technical) on managing a team of training professionals to deliver effective training programs and ensure smooth and efficient running of the Technical Department to align to ELITC’s vision, mission and strategic plan. He/She will be responsible for all aspects of ELITC’s training programs from design, develop, implement, monitor and evaluation for ELITC’s customers.

**Responsibilities**
- To design, develop, review and deliver both new and existing training programs to meet the different industries stakeholders’ training needs. This includes the courseware development, e-learning development, facilities and infrastructure setup for new training programs or new curriculuM/Framework.
- To ensure the quality of training programs such as conducting annual academic staff performance evaluation; audit the training delivery and assessment; training process observation; internal verification of assessment and post-course reviews.
- To coordinate with trainers and supporting personnel on activities concerning training materials, trainees’ progress and performance, orientation, and other requirements to ensure the proper delivery of the Center’s training programmes.
- To generate a comprehensive bi-annually training report on the measurement of the performance of all training programs. This report includes benchmarking.
- To create and maintain policy and operation manuals for Technical Department.
- To partner with Business Development team to meet customers; understand the customers’ training needs and propose effective training courses to customers. This is on an ad-hoc basis.
- May be required to travel overseas on an ad hoc basis.

**Qualifications and Skill Sets**
- Degree and/or Diploma with at least 3 years of relevant work experience.
- Proficient in facilitating group sessions and conducting soft skills training (face-to-face and on-line).
- Experience in developing and updating training courseware.
- Able to build and maintain positive relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Proactive team player with strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Open to Singaporeans only.
