**Overview**:
**Key Responsibilities**

1. **Food Preparation**:

- Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes, portion controls, and presentation standards.
- Assist with prepping ingredients, such as chopping, marinating, and assembling dishes.

2. **Station Management**:

- Maintain a clean, organized, and fully stocked workstation.
- Ensure food is cooked and plated in a timely and efficient manner.
- Coordinate with other kitchen staff to ensure smooth operations during service.

3. **Quality and Safety**:

- Adhere to food safety and hygiene standards, including proper handling and storage of ingredients.
- Conduct regular checks to ensure the quality and freshness of ingredients.

4. **Team Collaboration**:

- Communicate effectively with other team members to meet service demands.
- Assist in training new kitchen staff and support teammates during peak times.

5. **Inventory and Cleanup**:

- Monitor supplies and report any shortages or equipment malfunctions.
- Participate in daily cleaning and maintenance of kitchen equipment and facilities.

**Requirements**:
1. **Experience and Skills**:

- Previous experience as a line cook or in a similar role (preferred but not required for entry-level applicants).
- Strong understanding of various cooking techniques, ingredients, and kitchen equipment.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.

2. **Technical Knowledge**:

- Familiarity with food safety practices and certifications (e.g., Food Handler’s Certificate is a plus).
- Knowledge of recipe execution and portion control.

3. **Personal Attributes**:

- Team-oriented mindset with excellent communication skills.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality dishes.
- Dependable, punctual, and able to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.

4. **Education**:

- High school diploma or equivalent (Culinary school training is a plus).
