Robotics and Coding Instructor Full Time

Job Summary

A lead instructor must be able deliver all curriculums to all students and ensure smooth deliver of classes in their respective centre. This would include having in mind dealing with the customers in a professional and ethical way. The lead instructor must be able to conduct competition trainings for selected students in their respective centre. The lead instructor must be able to conduct trainings for their respective centre whenever required and also design curriculums and teaching materials assignment with relevance to the center’s core objectives and values. The lead instructor must also be able to manage his/her team of part time instructors and ensure that their welfare is well taken care of.

Primary Roles and Responsibilities
- To coordinate the classes with all the relevant internal customers and ensure that the classes are running smoothly in the centre on a weekly basis. (include managing of the attendance sheets - admin?)
- To follow and deliver all lesson plans to students (regular classes and camps &/workshops) across centres, executing it to the organization prerogative.
- To support and ensure that classes across centers are being executed and runed smoothly.
- To conduct competition trainings in the centre to best ability for selected students, having in mind leading the students to having a successful competition experience and learning outcome.
- To conduct trainings for all new instructors (part time and full time) allocated to the centre, ensuring smooth onboard and quality class delivery prior to completion of training.
- To monitor and have immediate corrective action plans for centre’s part time instructors who are not abiding by the protocols.
- To ensure that the centre’s part time instructors’ welfare is taken care of, and feedbacks are heard on a monthly basis.
- To gather feedbacks from part timers and also feedback about curriculum on a monthly basis, summarized and submitted by the end of every month.
- To conduct random checks on classes, progress reports as well as Onedrive photos and videos uploads by all instructors to ensure standards are met and kept across centres on a monthly basis.
- To conduct random checks on centre’s part time instructors on their classes and come up with strategies for support that is in line with the curriculum plans on a monthly basis.
- To develop lesson plans for assigned lesson modules with clear teaching methods and instructions for instructors and MUST meet of students’ needs and understanding.
- To ensure all students in the centres are evaluated, progress reports are generated and uploaded for external customers every 20thlessons.
- To address feedbacks and queries from parents with/without centre’s part time instructors a timely and professional manner with full knowledge of the curriculum and courses.
- To improve the processes and also implement any relevant job scope with respect to the organizations structure.
- To work closely and cordially with fellow colleagues to maintain an effective operation for the Organization
- To ensure that all the job scope or additional job scope is executed in accordance to the directions given by the directors.
- To do all in your power to promote, develop and extend the activities of the Company at all times and in all respects conform to and comply with the proper and reasonable directions from the directors
- To submit an evaluation report on a monthly basis (30thof every month) to the management with regards to your progress of your job scope.
- To adhere to any other job scope that is been given by Directors to achieve the desire Vision and Mission of the Organization.

Secondary Roles and Responsibilities
- To ensure that the attrition rates (drop outs) and to work towards zero student dropout.
- To follow up with centre’s part time instructors on their responsibilities for photos, videos and feedbacks upload and any changes in class arrangements.
- To take the initiative on reporting the malfunction of the equipment’s and also ensuring teaching materials are sufficient for the weekly classes. This would include the tardiness of the classroom.

Key Accountabilities
- To be a role model for part time instructors and ensure best delivery of lessons in any classes.
- To have full knowledge of the curriculum and courses.
- To be responsible for centre part timers and ensuring that protocols are followed:

- Reporting to work 15 minutes before class time for class preparations and receiving of students 5 minutes before class time.
- Class delivery within 1h 30min time frame.
- Quality delivery of classes and following of lesson plans during delivery.
- Onedrive photos and videos upload and completion of evaluation for trial students by the end of class session.
- Onedrive photos and videos upload and completion of evaluation for regular students by end of class week and specified evaluation respectively.
