**Reporting to the Compliance Manager, you will provide legal advice and support for our Singapore's business entity.**

**Main responsibilities**
- Advise on general corporate from a legal perspective
- Ensure the operations is in Compliance with laws and regulatory frameworks.
- You will take a lead in the area of Compliance, partnering closely with internal teams to register and ensure approvals to protect the business needs.
- You will help the Compliance Manager with providing legal and compliance training to employees
- Support and drive any other assignments / initiatives / projects related to Compliance or legal.

You will be involved with contract and agreement management, including assisting with drafting, reviewing and negotiating contracts with a strong track record in the areas of:

- Advice on employment law and compliances related matter
- Where needed, manage and communicate with external law firms
- Conduct research on various regulatory issues.
- Retail and office premises leasing agreements
- Partnership agreements
- Social media agreements
- Suppliers agreements
- Vendor service agreements
- NDAs

**Requirements**:

- 3 to 5 years of relevant Retail / Travel Retail / FMCG or similar related experience in the capacity of Legal Executive
- Degree is law related discipline or equivalent is a must
- A start-up mindset - highly collaborative with an entrepreneurial spirit
- Excellent legal and commercial awareness and top-notch drafting and negotiating skills
- Strong interpersonal skills, particularly for working cross functionally with internal stakeholders
- Knowledge or exposure to corporate legal compliance and/or Singapore Customs’ / HSA / SPF / SFA compliance is an advantage
- Knowledge or experience in investigation techniques is an advantage.
- Merticulous, detail-oriented, deadline driven with strong planning and project management skills.
