**Reporting to**:Peter Groves, Director Crude/VLCC

**Location**:Singapore

**Summary of Job Role**:
EA Gibson Shipbrokers are looking to recruit an experienced VLCC Shipbroker in our Singapore office. For this role you will ideally have 5+ years’ experience, speak fluent Chinese, be motivated and driven to succeed, and have a network of chartering/owning clients.

**Key Tasks & Responsibilities**:

- Work alongside an established team of brokers located both East and West to build out the VLCC desk, extending their client base and identifying and developing new potential business.
- Facilitating and executing deals between parties, directly and co broking with teammates.
- Gathering data from the market and helping to coordinate information within our bespoke technology system.

**Skills**:

- Fluent in Chinese.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong negotiation, problem solving and analytical skills
- Ability to successfully work with challenging and demanding clients with tenacity and a high level of attention to detail
- Excellent customer relationship skills
