**Position Purpose**
Subject matter expert to work on efficiency and efficacy of manufacturing processes. Provide technical initiative and support to achieve the right quality and quantity at lowest achievable production cost.

**Key Accountabilities**
- Manufacturing processes oversight, downtime recovery and process improvement, validation, CR, NCR/CAPA, SOP update and review activities related to manufacturing material or equipment.
- Provide technical support in technology transfer, installation, commissioning and optimization of new equipment or improvement via qualification and validation processes.
- To liaise with vendors and internal associates with technical improvement and discussion.
- Ensure maintenance works are carried out timely without disruption to operations.
- Support on daily operational issue, involve in OEE or productivity projects.
- Ensure compliance to all regulatory and corporate policies.

**Education**
Degree in Engineering (Mechanical / Mechatronic / Robotics / Electrical / Electronic) or Diploma with relevant experience.

**Experience**
- At least 3 years working experience in a 24/7 pharmaceutical or medical device-manufacturing environment. Other industry may be considered.
- Process improvement experience in the manufacturing industry
- Technical problem-solving skills with experience in automated pick & place manufacturing environment
- Basic knowledge in statistical techniques.

**Skills and Abilities**
- Good communication skills with high personal initiative and self-starting at work to overcome barriers.
- Technical skills and knowledge in troubleshooting, installation, and maintenance of equipment. Hands-on troubleshooting of equipment in Electrical & Mechanical will be compulsory.
- Excellent analytical, problem solving and prioritization skills.
