**About the role
**A Media Activation Manager has day to day responsibility of managing client campaigns, helping to evaluate campaign performance and make optimisation decisions and recommendations. Working within the Media Activation team, they will ensure effective management of projects and campaigns, help to oversee Activation executives, and work closely with Activation directors to deliver on client requests and help with weekly reporting. They will also work with Planning to give insights for forecasting and testing.
**Some of the things we’d like you to do**:
- Build and maintain solid, trusted relationships with day to day client teams and act as a point of contact for client through project or campaign lifecycle
- Understand client business, market and audiences to effectively input to the activation and planning process
- Scope campaigns and oversee creation of accurate documentation to deliver on brief, time and budget
- Own and monitor campaign performance to provide proactive and strategic optimisation recommendation
- Effectively and proactively coordinate internal agency resources to deliver client campaigns against agreed objectives, timelines and budgets, including issue identification and resolution
- Understand and adopt agreed upon best practices across relevant media channels
- Coordinate production and presentation of relevant campaign documentation
- Build and execute testing plans to gain learnings & improve campaign performance (responsible for hypothesis, test quality, writing up test results)
- Support the budgeting process (with Activation/Client Director) and ensure accurate and timely financial management of campaigns including estimation, reconciliation and invoicing
- Own the relationship with creative agencies (or internal creative team if appropriate) to ensure joined up campaign delivery
- Support Director/Senior Manager in development of junior team members
**A bit about yourself**:
- Approximately 2 - 4 years’ experience in a digital media agency
- Expert level for at least Search Engine Marketing (preference for Google Search), practitioner level for all other biddable channels
- Bachelor's Degree or above
- Proficiency in Excel (Pivot Tables, VLookups, etc)
- A passion for all things digital, including the latest trends and developments
- Proven track record of launching campaigns successfully
- Strong analytical skills; ability to analyze raw data, draw conclusions, and develop actionable recommendations. A natural affinity with numbers is a must
- Deep understanding of maintenance and upkeep of Olive (internal systems)
- A strong verbal and written communicator, able to build strong relationships with people at all levels of seniority
- An ability to bring the best out of people; helping them develop their capabilities and improve their confidence, whilst motivating them to succeed and helping them maintain focus when necessary
- A strong work ethic; able to work under pressure and juggle multiple responsibilities to meet deadlines and deliver results
- Exceptional diligence and attention to detail as well as resourcefulness and quick, practical thinking in a demanding environment
- Adaptability, able to flex up or down when needed
