**Responsibilities**:

- Responsible for the design, development and commissioning support of Pharmaceuticals DCS / PLC systems. Design system architecture, design specification, control strategies, and library development.
- Responsible for the development and implementation of Automation solutions in line with S88 standards for the plant.
- Supporting manufacturing operations for day-to-day support for DeltaV system.
- Support on NC and CAPA and identification of root causes.
- Provide support in the design, testing, commissioning and validation of the relevant Automation systems including interfaces with other subsystems.
- Continuous improvement of the system and support for Operations as required.
- Field commissioning of automation equipment’s.
- System administration and maintenance support.
- Computer system Validation and documentation support for automation systems.Interacting with Operations Team, Process Team, Equipment Vendors and Technology providers.

**Requirements**:

- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Information Technology, Industrial Automation or other related studies.
- 9 to 13 years’ experience in a similar role, ideally in the pharmaceutical industry with good track record of automation hardware and networking technologies. Adept with networking knowhow, best practices and be able to troubleshoot all industrial networking protocols which includes but not limited to Ethernet/IP, Profibus, ProfiNet, Fieldbus, DeviceNet, etc.
- Strong knowledge and hands on experience with Network Infrastructure, Windows Active Directory and Domain Controller, Cybersecurity Architecture, Cluster Administration tools, Backup and Restoration tools.
- Experience in the designing and commissioning of Pharmaceuticals DCS / PLC systems automation projects for GMP manufacturing site. exposure to Siemens PCS7 or S7 is preferred. Knowledge on Emerson DeltaV DCS Batch experience or Rockwell Pharma experience is advantageous.
- Through understanding of Batch S88 standards (CM, EM, Phases, Recipes, Units etc) and Siemens PCS7 or S7 with Batch exposure is required.
- Strong understanding of CSV documentation for Pharma projects
- Thorough understanding of Physical and Procedural Layer design, development and qualification.
- Strong understanding of Global Engineering Standard for Pharmaceutical or Biopharmaceutical processes.
- Familiarity with SDLC and quality management processes in the pharmaceutical industry
- Ability to work well in a team environment.
- Able to manage multiple party coordination for automation information.
- Good communication and able to work remotely or onsite as required by client.
