**House-call Cat Groomer (Freelance/Full-time)**

Do you have a gentle touch and are comfortable handling cats of different temperaments? Are you looking to make your own schedule while helping kitties look their best at home? We're on the prowl for talented cat groomers to join our team

**At work, you will**:

- Perform basic grooming-specific tasks for cats in a safe, cage-free, and stress-free
manner
- Advise cat owners on how they can improve the quality of care for their cats
- Inspect cats for external signs of infection, parasites, injury and/or disease
- Maintain exceptional standards of facility safety, hygiene and tidiness
- Accept and co-ordinate grooming appointments

A love of cats ranks among the top qualities we require for the people we select to grow our team. You must be exceptionally passionate about caring for our feline charges, be unafraid to place their safety before yours, and remain committed to their well-being and care.

**Your skills should include**:

- SKC or equivalent grooming certification, or;
- Prior working experience in home-grooming settings

- You are confident in grooming companion animals and wish to hone your skills in cat
grooming specifically
- You have a basic to intermediate understanding of cat care and behavior
- You possess a great passion and love for cats of all ages and temperaments
- You are patient, firm, and detail-oriented
- You possess good communication and interpersonal skills
