**Purpose statement**

Magellan is a global business transformation program, aiming at simplifying, standardizing and modernizing our core business processes, enabling BSC to better leverage the power of data and to position our business for profitable and sustainable growth.

Reporting to the Regional Business Transformation Lead, the APAC regional lead will act as the primary regional leader, project manager and point of contact between The Magellan Program and the APAC Region (regional leadership, country leadership, and stakeholders). The regional lead will represent the global Magellan program strategy and implementation roadmap; planning, communicating, influencing, and coordinating execution efforts across the region to meet both Magellan and regional program objectives.

**Your responsibilities include**:

- Develop a core understanding of the Magellan Program and their regional implications across all commercial, inbound, manufacturing, outbound, finance, change management and master data work-streams.
- Identify, prioritize and coordinate harmonization efforts pre-Magellan. This will need to be done in coordination with APAC PMO office
- Possess a solid understanding of region and country complexities / challenges, staying updated on regional strategies/initiatives.
- Have a strong network contact within the region at the country leadership, functional leadership, and functional SME levels.
- Effectively communicate and influence across the region and country leadership levels and the global Magellan program.
- Be the primary point of contact in the region to identify regional SME’s and stakeholders, collecting and consolidating input for the program. Ensure the region is adequately represented across the Magellan program. Develop meaningful relationships, making the connections to drive the program successfully. Ensuring voice of customer inputs right through the program cycle.
- Partner and work closely with Regional Leads for the Magellan Program in EMEA, Canada and LATAM
- Create and execute a best-in-class regional change management and communication plan with support from global program team.
- Identify, track and proactively mitigate any risks foreseen in the region and track and proactively manage overlapping initiatives (e.g., other transformation initiatives)
- With regional leaders/stakeholders and the global Magellan team, develop and execute a regional implementation strategy for region as part of the broader global program with a detailed deployment and resource plan
- Act as the change leader in the region, with support from global program leadership and regional/country leadership.
- Business partnership and project management of large complex multi-year program requiring large change management efforts.
- Taking a program through Project Management gate process with preliminary and detailed planning, execution and final sustaining, operational and continuous improvement phase.
- Drive responsibility, accountability and ownership of project and actionable items across a range of process standardizations and improvements.
- Communicate project priorities, monitor and escalation of unresolved issues
- Ensure timely project completion ensuring current policies and practices are followed and keeping accurate documentation.
- Driving all project management disciplines, scopes, charters, roadmaps, workplans etc.
- Problem solving as needed.

**What we’re looking for**:

- 7+ years’ professional experience with a Bachelor’s degree in Business, IT, Engineering, Science or applicable field required; Advanced degree would be highly preferred
- 5+ years Project Management/Management experience in medical device field required.
- Previous leadership experience across the network or the Management of large change programs
