Assists the Deputy General Manager in performing engineering duties in planning, designing and overseeing the construction of civil engineering projects.
- Manage a construction project team and oversee the construction activities, planning, implementation, and monitoring of work schedules in accordance with the master and detailed work program.
- Liaise and coordinate with clients, designers, consultants, subcontractors, and different authorities on the project’s activities.
- Review and prepare method statements for submission to the client
- Ensure progress according to schedule, quality standards are maintained site inspections are carried out and technical issues are resolved on time.
- Responsible for assisting the Project Manager the overall performance of team in the project and prepare the project management and project quality plans and implement them accordingly.
- In charge of implementation and completion of construction projects within scheduled time, cost and quality.
- Manage the project staff and the quality of services performed for the project, according to the policies and procedures of the company and the terms of the contract with the client.
- Provide technical knowledge to the client in the PM's area of expertise to help solve the client's problems
- Mediate conflicting technical views from the various disciplines and thereby producing a harmonious working relationship among the technical staff on the project
- Management of construction works to ensure timely completion and also adherence to environmental and safety standards.
- Finalize project including provisional overhead adjustments, claims, release of retention, signed releases, and client follow-up. Obtain Certification of Completion as required.
- Monitor ongoing site activities and ensure work runs smoothly
- Any ad-hoc duties as per assigned by the Deputy General Manager / General Manager.

**Minimum Qualifications**:

- Degree in Civil Engineering or its equivalent, preferably recognized by Professional Engineers Board of Singapore.
- Proficient in both MS Office, MS Project and AutoCAD.
- Must have exposure to MRT Station & Tunnel LTA Projects.
- At least 10 years in managing experience in civil engineering project.
- Good knowledge of local authority requirements and engineering standards.
- Strong time management skills with exceptional attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks / project at one time.
