Improve work safely and work quality
- Ensure proper requisition, control and utilization of material resources
- Ensure rules and regulations of company and government and all welding procedures are being complied with
- Interpret drawings
- Maintain overall supervision of specific projects or piping works assigned
- Supervise testing and coordinate stress relief of pipes
- Conduct testing and assist commissioning of systems
- Replenish welding consumables and goods for the welding process in shop and out on-site
- Conduct vendors inspection before and after welding
- Review the production work processes to enhance efficiency and productivity

JOB REQUIREMENTS
- At least 2 years of related work experience for Diploma or Higher NITEC holder/ 6 years of related work experience for GCE ‘O’ Level holder
- Able to understand and interpret technical/ ISO drawings and welding process
- Able to understand the Class regulations with respect to system installation, non-destructive testing and mechanical test
- Able to work in a team
- Possess knowledge of arithmetic calculation on lengths, angles, scales and conversion of units etc
- Possess knowledge of standard pipe fitting and valves, gas cutting process and welding process
- Possess good communication and interpersonal skills
- Possess supervisory skill to coach and motivate staff
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel & Project)
