Singapore HENGTAI RANGE (SINGAPORE) IMPORT& EXPORT INTERNATIONAL TRADING PTE. LTD. Full time

**Responsibilities**
- Maintains full set of accounts for us and clients
- Manages all financial and accounting transactions
- Prepares timely monthly and annual closing
- Computes taxes and prepare tax returns
- Manages balance sheets and profit/loss statements
- Reconciles accounts payable and receivable
- Maintains ledger to ensure effectiveness and accuracy of all accounting tasks
- Support annual audit preparation with external auditors
- Maintains financial data confidentiality and conduct database backups when necessary
- Supports creation of SOPs for accounting policy and regulations and roll out reconciliation procedures
- Keeps account books and systems up to date
- Stay updated on statutory requirements/ legislations and Government funding schemes
- Perform other accounting duties as required

**Job Requirements**
- A public accountant registered under the Accountants Act OR a member of the Institute of Singapore Chartered Accountants OR a member of the Association of International Accountants (Singapore Branch) OR a member of the Institute of Company Accountants, Singapore
- Working knowledge of relevant provisions of Singapore Companies Act
- Diploma / Degree in Accounting, ACCA or equivalent with min. 5 years of commercial working experience.
- Good accounting knowledge of IFRS/SFRS and Singapore Tax
- Proficient in MS Office with strong MS Excel skills.
- Able to multitask and willing to be hands-on.
- Pro-active, self-motivated and eager to acquire knowledge.
- Able to work independently
